PbS has recently been recognized important material of its superior physical properties. CdS is widely used as a window material in many photovoltaic applications. Physical understanding of the interface between CdS and PbS is therefore of great practical interest. Lead doped cadmium sulfide thin film deposited by spray pyrolysis technique. The films were investigated by high-resolution scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) shows that the grain sizes of the films were increased with increasing Pb concentration and the estimated average grain size lies in the range 4 nm to 9 nm. and crystal structure of the films is wurtzite hexagonal.
