The increasing use of engineered nanomaterials, especially nanoparticles (NP), in various applications will likely lead to a significant exposure to these new materials. Over 500 NP-based consumer products are already marketed, such as sunscreens and cosmetics, detergents, pigments, tires, lubricants and healthcare/medical application products. There is an urgent need to assess the potential hazard and then the potential health risk posed by these new materials. This has initiated an integrated…See More

Is this a good approach for Nanotechnology ?

The fact that the rate of crystallisation rate of Polyethylene is higher than nucleating agent in the other hand Polypropylene is recognized as a relatively easy material to nucleate. This is because the rate of crystallization is low enough to allow the nucleating agent to have a direct impact on the nucleation density. Conversely.

This is probably the reason there has been such minimal commercial activity in the area of nucleating agents for polyethylene.

But Now there is an emerged… Continue

Thank you and I am happy to have joined the group. I live in a society that has a very ambivalent attitude toward science, enjoying the benefits while demonizing the scientists. This never made sense to me because if God did create the universe, He also created the properties and conditions that make all the advances, and benefits, of science possible. He also made us curious and in the words of Einstein, try to discover "how God makes the Universe work." I see no conflict in this and as we find more and more about this amazing creation, we can appreciate God's power and cleverness in structuring a system that is self-consistent and self-sustaining. I look forward to hearing from others on this.

Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
