A Project Fellow is required under UGC-DAE funded project at National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru, Karnataka from Sept.-Oct. 2018 for 1.5 years.

Project: The project will be focussed on the degradation studies of perovskite thin film solar cells using Synchrotron source.

Qualification: (i) M.E./M.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) / M.E./M.Tech. (Nanotechnology) or equivalent preferably with valid NET / GATE score. OR (ii) M.Sc. (Nanotechnology)/M.Sc. (Physics) preferably with valid NET/ GATE score.

Desirable: Familiarity and hands-on experience on thin films fabrication and characterization tools including SEM, AFM, XRD, and Thermal Evaporation/Sputtering. Fundamental knowledge of Solar cells.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA @ Mysuru rate (for NET/GATE qualified) else
Rs. 14,000/- plus HRA@ Mysuru rate as a Project Fellow

Job Role: The selected person has to work not only in NIE Mysuru but also spent at least three months/year at RRCAT Indore, working on 'The degradation studies of Perovskite thin film solar cells using synchrotron based X-ray diffraction method'.
