Glycomics/ Biologics characterization facility – Positions in Glycomics/ glycoproteomics are available in the Biologics and Biosimilar characterization Unit at C-CAMP.

Desirable: Candidates should have hands on experience in mass spectrometry (Nano-LC-MS/MS) based proteomics (sample preparation, acquisition and interpretation of data and quantitative proteomics), biophysical characterization of proteins using various analytical techniques. Knowledge in the field of glycomics, glycoproteomics and carbohydrate chemistry is preferable.

Essential: Candidates should have sound knowledge on protein chemistry and biophysics, proteomics, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. He/she should have good interpersonal and communication skills and willing to work as a team.

Qualifications: We are seeking for highly motivated candidates in the field of proteomics/glycoproteomics. Applicants should have M.Sc (with 2-3 years working experience) in any discipline of life sciences or analytical chemistry.

Duties: Writing SOP, sample preparation for proteomics/glycoproteomics, data acquisition and interpretation, maintenance and handling of LC and MS instruments, complex carbohydrate analysis, and archival of data.
