| It is interesting to underline that engineered nanomaterials constitute large classes and subclasses of diverse materials as crystal-chitin (Chitin Nanofibril normally) used also in nature to mimic, for example, different kinds of colors. | |
| Chitin is the second abundant biopolymer after cellulose, which is synthesized not only by an enormous number of living organisms such as shrimps and crabs, but also by fungal and yeasts cells. | |
