A postdoctoral position is offered within the framework of a large-scale FP7 project. You will work in a collaborative project of nanoGUNE and several European partners from research and industry. The position is aimed for 1 year with possible extension to 1 more year.

The intended research is in the field of thin film deposition of inorganic materials and hybridization of inorganic with organic materials for functionalizing specific substrates. The approaches will involve gas phase deposition methods, in particular atomic layer deposition (ALD), as well as characterization by mechanical testing, microscopy, spectroscopy, and diffraction methods.

The position is aimed for a start in November 2013, but an earlier start may be discussed on an individual base.

The candidate will hold a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or any related field, will have a strong interest in a multidisciplinary work, and an experience in either or multiple of the above techniques.
