A two years Postdoctoral Fellow is offered in the field of materials science, focusing on using transmission electronmicroscopy (TEM) for microstructural characterization of metallic structural materials for applications in offshore technology or in mechanical / structural engineering.
The research project is one of: microstructure examination of welding zones between duplex stainless steels; welding zones between duplex stainless steel and different steel qualities (e.g. Inconel); examinations of metallic materials produced by 3D printing (additive manufacturing) or closely related topics.
