A two year postdoc position is available at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Braga, Portugal to carry out investigations on 2D nanomaterials of transition metal chalcogenides, carbides, nitrides etc. The candidate should have a strong background in high resolution imaging, spectroscopy, and diffraction having employed them previously routinely. Further knowledge of employing exit wave reconstruction, STEM/TEM simulation and generating structural models using standard software’s will be a plus. In addition he/she should have an adequate experience in high temperature synthesis of nanomaterials, ex: transition metal chalcogenides (MoS2, WS2, etc.), Nitrides ex: BN etc.
