Position details:
A one-year contract as a postdoc is available in the group of Prof. Fernando Martín at the Dept. of Chemistry of University Autonoma de Madrid. We have funds to extend the contract for a second year based on performance and upon mutual agreement.
The research project:
The aim of the project is to theoretically investigate the properties of organic molecules deposited and eventually self-assembled on graphene supported by metal surfaces. The work will be performed in close collaboration with experimental groups at the IMDEA-Nano institute. Previous work of this collaboration in this research topic can be found in [1-4].

Candidate Profile:
- PhD degree in Physics or Chemical Physics, obtained less than three years before the closing date of this call. Transnational mobility periods will be positively evaluated.
- Strong background in theoretical simulations of periodic systems, electronic structure and molecular dynamics methodologies. Programming skills will be very much appreciated.
Starting date:
The position should start not later than April 1st, 2015.
Remuneration:
Gross salary (before applying national income taxes) is 27.000 Euros/year(net salary around 1.700 Euros/month depending on personal situation).
