Open post doc position (2years) in the field of high resolution and angular resolved EELS and EFTEM of materials, coupled with ab-initio DFT calculations.

The main topics will deal with:

Investigation of carbon based materials by means of EELS and EFTEM

Investigation of doped ceramics and semiconductors by means of monochromated STEM

Angular resolved low loss EELS of metals and semi-conductors.

Experience in operating a Cs corrected, monochromated TEM as well as in programming and scripting for data analysis and / or DFT calculations are of great advantage.
