The position is part of a FOM programme on Honeycomb Dirac lattices with experiment (physics and chemistry) and theoretical groups from Utrecht, Eindhoven and Delft. The Delft work includes the fabrication of nano-electrodes, handling of the nanocrystals and deposition of the arrays, measuring (opto-)electronic characteristics in one of the existing low-noise set-ups and analysis of the data including the development of models. You will fabricate three-terminal devices in the state-of-the art Kavli Nanofacility at Delft; an important aspect of the work will be the development of deposition techniques for the nanocrystal arrays in between the electrodes (in close collaboration with chemists from Delft).
