Phd/JRF positions, IIT (BHU) Varanasi

Applications are invited for two Junior Research Fellows in a Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project to work on ‘Electronic properties of low dimensional systems” experiment/theory. The positions are initially for three years and likely to be extended for five years, subjected to the financial approval from DST. The candidate should be M.Sc. in Physics or M.Tech. in Materials Science/Electronics Engg./Electrical Engg. and should have qualified NET/GATE with consistently good academic record (at least 60% marks in M.Sc./M.Tech). Upper age limit is 28 years with 5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Challenged candidates. Candidates selected for this project may register for Ph.D. if found suitable as per IIT (BHU) rules.
