Applications are invited for PhD studies in Theoretical Physical Chemistry with a focus on analytical and computational modeling of nanoscale systems. The research will be conducted in the group of Prof. Ignacio Franco (http://www.chem.rochester.edu/~franco_group) or Prof. Oleg Prezhdo (http://www.rochester.edu/~prezhdo_group) in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester.
We are seeking smart, creative and highly motivated individuals, with strong computational and analytical skills and a background in chemistry, physics, computer science or applied mathematics. Ph.D. students are fully funded for 5 years and receive highly competitive salaries. The candidates should be interested in conducting interdisciplinary research in Theoretical Nanoscience.
