The Nano-electronic and Photonic Systems group (NePhoS) of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili is seeking candidates for a Ph.D. position in applied photonics and optoelectronics with a special focus on modeling and application of ordered, random and quasi-random nanostructured photonic materials. The applicants should have a recognized Ms. C. degree in Physics, Mathematics or Telecomunications Engineering and previous experience with programming in C/Matlab. The applicants are expected to demonstrate a strong aptitude in numerical simulation and a high level of the English language.
