Two technology talks of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) on "Nanotechnology and New Materials for construction" and "Safe Handling of Nanomaterials" were held in November 2013. The talks focused on innovative materials and nanotechnology developments in construction engineering and relevant issues in nano-safety research, respectively.
