Job description

Centralized manager and contact person in light microscopy, involving:

• Device administration and responsibility
• Device maintenance (incl. competence for operation budget)
• Device configuration
• Unified contact to microscope manufacturers
• Guiding local device admins
• Introduction of new users & 2nd level user support
• Maintaining continuity & cross-linking of device-specific know-how

Requirements

• University degree in Physics with focus optics
• Practice as leader of a scientific microscopy unit and experience with microscopy users in the bio-medical context
