The Best Projects, Best Posters and the Most Innovative Exhibitor awardedThe Best Research Projects 2014 were awarded at the Greek Night Conference Dinner, based on their achievements as evaluated by the conference's Expert Advisory Group. The projects were awarded in two categories: Ongoing and completed projects.

REFREEPERMAG (Prof. Dimitrios Niarchos)
AQUAVIR (Prof. Noemi Rozlosnik)
PLAST4FUTURE (Prof. Anders Kristensen)

The Best Posters 2014 were chosen from over 130 submissions. The following posters were awarded:
- LaserMicroFab: Laser Digital Micro‐Nano fabrication for Organic Electronics and Sensor applications, Prof. Ioanna Zergioti
- EFEVE: Development of a new high performance material to make super strong and lightweight components, Ms. Isella Vicini
- Long Range Ultrasonic Inspection of Aircraft Wiring, Dr. Serafeim Moustakidis
The Plast4Future project was given the IndustryTech 2014 award for the most innovative exhibitor, based on the visual outlooks and innovative contents of their exhibition stand, as well as the ability to communicate their project. In addition, the jury appreciated the elegant, smart and simple way of Plast4Future to apply nanotechnology both to traditional world and to high-tech, opening new opportunities and environmental benefits.
