I'm finding a Ph.D. position

application from FJ Liu.pdfI am writing here to apply for admission to some team as a Ph.D student, starting from autumn semester of next year.At present, I am a Master degree student in School of Material and Chemical Engineering in Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. With the record I have achieved so far, I am certain that I shall earn my Master degree in material science in July 2009. I am interested in the research on synthesis and properties of inorganic nanoparticles, preparation and characterization of polymer/inorganic hybrid materials, especially that with core-shell structure. Under the instruction of my supervisor, I have already partially finished my master dissertation on “Preparation and Characterization of magnetic Fe3O4@polymer microsphere” ahead of schedule. During this process, I have a good grasp of basic theoretical knowledge in inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry and inorganic nanomaterials, and also I have many experiences and skills in synthesis of metal oxide, preparation and characterization of hybrid materials with corn/shell structure. I believe that it will be possible for me to make more contribution to your laboratory under your supervision. school of environmental science and engineering, in POSTECH, pohang south korea) you must have heard that it is one of the leading institutes. i am working with iron based nanoparticles especially core shell zero valent iron nanoparticles for environmental remediation. i suggest you to apply to prof Y.S.
