A novel route has been developed to fabricate different carbonnanostructures having individual morphology of carbonnanoparticles: nanofullerene, nanocube,  nanoleaf and porous nanorods, through the combustion of carbonxerogel with nitricacid.These fabricated nanostructures exhibited bright green fluorescence under the exposure of UV light.
