QUANTUMWISE A/S

The barrier for understanding the physics behind nanodevice can be daunting for some researchers who are new to the field. Through this virtual event, we would like to introduce users to Quantumwise’s software, Atomistix ToolKit (ATK), a software package that offers unique capabilities for simulating nanostructures on the atomic scale. The software is actively used by over one hundred research groups at leading universities, government labs and companies around the world, with more than 600 scientific publications by our users to date.
Through this software, researchers will be able to understand the characteristcs of a wide range of applications such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, nanowires, spintronic, molecular devices etc.
Also with an advanced Graphical User Interface (GUI), Virtual Nanolab, it allows users to create novel state of the art nanodevices
or interactively introduce defects, dopants or vacancies. The GUI also provides a user-friendly interface to setup the parameters of the calculation, and to plot and analyze the results.
In this way, the QuantumWise platform allows researchers to focus on the relevant points for their projects, namely the investigation of the characteristic of novel device structures, rather than spending time writing their own quantum mechanical codes for the simulation, or struggling with setting up the devices and visualizing the results of their calculations.
Quantumwise believes that through the 2nd NANO-INDIA DAYS 2012, we will be able to reach out to like-minded researchers and introduce our Quantumwise platform to them.
