Anodization range

Some people were asking about what is the anodization range and what could be done using regular DC voltage.According to different applications and research fields, researchers really like to control the pore size and the structure, even chemical composition in the AAO matrix. In my past experimental experiences, various electrolyte and solutions can be used to anodize aluminum from around few hundred mV to 700V. Although the setup and conditions are totally different, high voltage anodization…

About porous structure

Recently we had prepared porous silicate matrix with nanocrystals embeded in  it. it shows good application in WLEDS and an excellent photoluminesent material.Generally if we want to prouce white light we have to go with three metals whose spectrum lies in RGB.But we used only the one metal with strong RED emission  to produce the white light. What the kind of property do  you expect with Aluminium oxide?
