Anodization range

Some people were asking about what is the anodization range and what could be done using regular DC voltage.According to different applications and research fields, researchers really like to control the pore size and the structure, even chemical composition in the AAO matrix. In my past experimental experiences, various electrolyte and solutions can be used to anodize aluminum from around few hundred mV to 700V. Although the setup and conditions are totally different, high voltage anodization is possible and reproducible.
