A Mechanomeric-Selective R&D Road-Map, Part 1: Introduction

Functional copolymers such as the proteins are called "mechanomers" here, distinguishing such naturally-occurring mechanomers as "biopolymers" where convenient; the science of mechanomers is called "mechanomerics"; and applied mechanomerics is called "mechanomeric engineering", including "mechanomeric medicine".Mechanomeric engineering requires some technique for developing mechanomers to perform desired functions, such as enzymes and molecular machines. And just as proteins are developed in…

Photonomics: The Photosynthetic Economy

Enzymes photosynthesizing fuels, organic chemical industrial feedstocks, and bulk macronutrients (fats, sugars and amino acids) from air, seawater and sunlight will be readily developed by mechanomeric selection (MeSe).I've outlined the basics of such photosynthesis here athttp://www.nanopaprika.eu/profiles/blogs/random-mechanomers-and-artificial-photosynthesisAnd I just expanded that with some additional observations on my "MeSeBlog"…

Proteopedia

This one is fun.Proteopedia is a 3-D-graphic-oriented Wiki devoted to macromolecules, mostly proteins at present, of course (but hopefully that will soon change):http://www.proteopedia.org/wiki/index.php/Main_PageYou can grip and turn the molecules freely with mouse/cursor.It has 70K+ macromolecules (mostly proteins) so far.
