OBJECTIVES OF THE FORUM

In 2012, the forum is held in support of the state policy in the field of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy. The organizer of the forum is the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart Rossii) in association with the Central Office of the Government of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and establishments and a number of international organizations including BIPM, OIML, EURAMET, COOMET, UNIDO.

The forum is a unique exhibition event gathering at one site major manufactures and consumers of measuring tools, testing and laboratory equipment, for the purpose of establishing direct commercial contacts. The Symposium “Precision. Quality. Safety” is held at the same site with the exhibition for the purpose of discussing solutions of main issues in the field of metrological support for industrial branches and promotion of the latest B2B technologies. The main objective of the forum is to evaluate condition of measuring technologies of the Russian industry and to determine the development vector for implementation of the state policy directed at modernization of the Russian economy in the field of defense, space, telecommunication, computer, nuclear and medical technologies, enhanced energy efficiency and resource saving.
