The 2nd International conference on Optoelectronic Materials and thin films for Advanced Technology will be held from January 3 to 5, 2013 in Kochi, India. This is the 2nd in the series of OMTAT (1st was held in December 2005 at Kochi, India). The focus theme of the conference is oxide materials for optoelectronic applications. The aim of the symposium is to enhance mutual cooperation and collaboration between academia and industries in the field of optoelectronic materials and devices.
The conference will be an ideal platform to share, discuss and exchange ideas on the latest development and findings in areas of advanced materials and processing the futuristic nanophotonic and optoelectronic applications.
The chairs of the conference are Prof. Joaquin Puigdollers (Spain), Prof. Ravendranathan Thampi (Ireland), Prof. Tamio Endo (Japan), Dr. Yayoi Takamura (USA), Prof. M. K. Jayaraj (India).
The conference will have a preconference workshop on 02/01/2012 which includes lectures and hands-own training sessions on advanced material characterization tools like HRXRD, Raman spectrometer, AFM etc. The number of candidates for the preconference workshop is limited, and at the time of registration interested candidate should register themselves for the preconference workshop also.
The Abstract submission is open now. For more details and for the format for filling the abstract please visit the Abstract section of the website(http://physics.cusat.ac.in/OMTAT2013).
There will be an exhibition on components & equipments for optoelectronic applications, with participants from industries around the world.
We welcome you to the Gods Own country for a nice and enjoyable stay. Hope to meet you in Cochin.
