NANOfutures and NanoDiode partners are organising several NanoSlams, where nanotechnology researchers present their work to the public in an entertaining way.

Come to learn about nanotech research and talk with the speakers.

What's a NanoSlam?
A NanoSlam is a talk where scientists present their own research work in a given time frame in front of a non-expert audience. The focus lies on teaching current science to a diverse audience in an entertaining way and learning from the audience's questions.

For whom is a NanoSlam?
NanoSlams are for everybody. The speakers aim their talks at the general public and present their work in an understandable way.

The next NanoSlam will take place in Germany in April.

The Palatinate Museum of Natural History based on the Pollichia (founded in 1840) has a long history in supporting research and sharing results with the community. The first German NanoSlam on 18th of April will be organized by microTEC as a NanoDiode partner and will bring together people with very different backgrounds: high level researchers, young scientists and retired persons on their holiday travel through palatinate as well as young pupils from the local schools.
