The Department of Physics, Nirmalagiri College, which has a small but active materials research group, is organizing an International Conference on Advanced Materials ( ICAM 2019) on 12th, 13th and 14th June 2019. The Conference aims to bring together researchers, scientists, academicians and industrialists from all over the world on a common platform to discuss and showcase recent advances in Materials Research, including but not limited to, synthesis of nanomaterials and their applications, materials for biological, energy, optical and electromagnetic applications, functional materials, engineering materials, composite materials, magnetic materials and related topics.
The 3-day event will include plenary lectures, invited and contributed talks and poster sessions, organized in different thematic sessions and coordinated by appointed chairs, who are experts in their fields. Prospective authors are requested to submit extended abstracts of length one page each through the abstract submission link in the conference website, which will be available by the second week of December 2018. The abstracts will be peer reviewed based on the relevance and the originality of their works. The authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their research work at the Conference by oral or poster presentations. All contributors of presented papers are invited to submit full papers for possible publication in the peer reviewed journal ‘Emergent Materials’, published by Springer and American Institute of Physics(AIP) Conference proceedings.
