Free Workshop/Hands on tutorial: "Atomic-scale Modelling and Electron Transport in Nanostructures"

At this workshop you will learn how to build advanced nanostructures like graphene, interfaces, MoS2 or molecular electronics devices and simulate their electrical properties and phonon thermal transport. For the methodology you will use both classical potentials, tight binding and density functional theory. Bring your laptop running windows or linux and you will get installed a copy of the software for the simulations. Participants are provided with a two month trial license.

Where: Dallas Convention Center

Room: D220

When: Wednesday, March 19, 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
