The Cambridge CNT Society is proud to announce the annual Cambridge CNT Symposium, which will be held on Friday, December 5th, 2008 at the Churchill College, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. The Cambridge CNT Symposium is the 2nd annual symposium on the science and applications of carbon nanotubes and related structures.This year, The Cambridge CNT Symposium, will have three sessions of invited talks from an international selection of distinguished researchers from academia as well as industry. The sessions will cover wide variety of multidisciplinary talks: from latest advances in understanding the physics of carbon nanotubes to their processing and from chemistry of their interaction with various molecules to their latest applications in industry.Professor Mark Welland, FRS, FREng, the Director of the Nanoscience Centre at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge and also the chief scientific adviser at the ministry of Defence, will deliver the Keynote address.Delegates are encouraged to display a poster. The Cambridge CNT Symposium will also have two best poster prizes. The Symposium will offer plenty of opportunities for networking. Symposium fee includes a delegate pack, coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.More information on the symposium and registration could be found at http://www.cambridgecnt.org.
