On behalf of the Organizing Committee we are pleased to invite you to participate in the            2nd International Workshop Advances on Photocatalysis, AdvPhotoCat-E 2017 that will take place at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Crete, Heraklion, Greece,     between July 14 and 16, 2017.

The workshop focuses on key scientific issues regarding experimental and theoretical aspects of photocatalysis in real life applications regarding Environment and Energy. The fundamentals of photocatalytic processes will be reviewed as well as their application in environmental remediation, green chemical synthesis, self-cleaning, solar harvesting, H2 generation etc. The workshop tries to open an extensive discussion between professionals from academia, research and industry, covering all areas involved.

The event will feature invited talks, oral presentations and a poster session.

The proposed topics are:

  • Basic research on photocatalysis
  • Photocatalytic materials
  • Photoelectrochemistry
  • Photocatalytic applications in environmental, energy, green chemistry, etc.
  • Modern trends in clean energy production and storage

The abstracts can be submitted by e-mail at contact@photocatalysis-workshop.com. For details regarding submission please check the event website www.photocatalysis-workshop.com.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 5th of May 2017.  Authors will be notified of acceptance and mode of presentation of their paper before 15th of May 2017

Information about manuscripts publication and social program will be posted soon on the website. The website will be regularly updated so, please visit it from time to time to keep informed.
