Scientist specialized in various fields related to group IV semiconductors will discus new achievements in processing, characterization and modelling of group IV semiconductors for band gap and material engineering with applications in nanoelectronic, nanophotonic and photovoltaic devices. 5 consecutive sessions: - Group IV materials: CMOS and further extension of the roadmap - Group IV materials: Nano-photonics - Material aspects and characterization on nano-scale - Nanostructures and material processing on atomic scale - Nano-crystalline materials and applications, will cover a large variety of HOT topics.
