These Schools are a joint initiative of:
INEB / IPATIMUP / IBEC
This will be the first School where the Cancer/Regeneration Interface will be debated at length.
The School will focus on the role played by stem cells and the surround microenvironment in regeneration as well as the role of cancer-initiating cells.
We invite you to bring questions that may contribute to the advancement of knowledge and build up an area of integrative science.
Participants are encouraged to prepare a poster with their most recent data, to be presented at the course poster session. The deadline for Abstract Submission is 4th May 2011.
In hands-on Laboratory Sessions selected participants will have the chance of learning techniques on cancer cell invasion and stem cell-based regeneration.
