Rolling up a graphene sheet into a carbon nanotube

Carbon nanotubes can be thought of as rolled up graphene sheets. The green arrow is called the chiral vector and determines how the sheet is rolled up into a tube. Depending on the choice of chiral vector, different nanotube structures are created.
