My research field or area of interest innanotechnology

In my MSc, I have successfully carried out a project at university of Wales, Bangor. The project was named as Creation of Organic Diodes using Atomic Force Microscope. By creating insulating trenches on a semiconducting layer, a self-switching device can be made in one nanolithography step. These devices were created on spin coated P3HT (poly (3-hexylthiophene) samples by scribing with the AFM. Devices were made by one nanolithography step. Several steps of lithography are required to make traditional diodes, which are 3-dimensional structures. The one-step lithography and simplicity of SSD device leads to a reduction of production costs.

Interest in...

• Micro/Nano fabrication: Photolithography, Soft lithography, Nano lithography, Dry/Wet Etching, physical vapor deposition (thermal deposition). • Design and Modeling: Comsol Multi Physics and Auto CAD. • Equipments with Skills: Edward thermal evaporator, Nitrogen glove box, Keithly source, EVG mask aligner, Nikon microscope, AFM, Spin coating system, Microprocessor and controller, KrF excimer lasers. • Other Skills: C, Microsoft Windows XP/Vista, and Microsoft Office.
