1.Electrochemical and Chemical Synthesis of conducting polymer based nanostructures and nanocomposites. 2. Synthesis of conducting polymer nanofiber reinforced polymer composites. 3. Biomedical applications of conducting polymer based nanostructured materials. 4. Investigation of electrical, structural, thermal, mechanical, surface morphological, electronic band and phase separation properties of conducting polymer nanocomposites and blends. 6. Device application of conducting polymer based nanostructured materials for microactuators, supercapacitors, chemical and biosensors. 7. Ion beam irradiation of conducting polymer nanocomposites and blends for modification and enhancement in material properties and device performance characteristics.
