My research field or area of interest innanotechnology
My research is mainly focused on synthesis of ceramic nanoparticles as per industrial requirements. We have synthesized 10 nm zirconia NP's for dental application and hydroxyapatite using biowaste materials. Hands on experience with work on 'focused sonication' - a novel type of sonication device used for efficient dispersion of NP's. Along with this, I have also worked on increasing flexural strength of alumina ceramics by glass infiltration technique. My interest is in synthesis of nanoparticles for application in agriculture, food, cosmetics, biosensors, water treatment, and pharma industries.
