My research field or area of interest innanotechnology
I am writing a book entitled: NanoInnovation: What Every Manager Needs to Know - published in May 2010 by Wiley VCH. In September 2013 I left the Mack Institute at the Wharton School and will retire from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2014 - however, I may affiliate with another school or university at that time so I consider myself on sabbatical and not actually retired.
Nanoinnovation; the future of biosciences; environmental technologies and solutions; radical innovation; the impact of emerging technologies on the future. I am an innovation champion and technology pioneer with a keen interest in radical and disruptive technologies. I do some consulting and speaking at industry events, and have presented on a wide range of topics related to emerging technologies and applications, and their expected impact.
NANOINNOVATION: What Every Manager Needs to Know; May 2010; Wiley VCH THE FUTURE OF BIOSCIENCES: Four Scenarios for 2020 and Their Implications for Human Healthcare (2006), co-authored with Paul Schoemaker THE HOME COMPUTER WARS; memoir on my role in the development and launch of the first home computer at Commodore Internatinoal - see my Wikipedia listing for more information on my contributions to the home computer revolution.
