My research field or area of interest innanotechnology
My research interests are primarily centered about the growth and characterization of unique 2D, 1D and 0D nanostructures, with narrow focus given to nanowires, quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, graphene, thin‐films, and other semiconducting materials in quantumly confined geometries as well as the utilization of these nanostructures for electronics, quantum devices, solar cells, photonics, applied chemistry, nanobiotechnology, etc. My future aim is to pursue research at the crossroad of materials science, physics, chemistry, and nanobiotechnology and to seek answers to scientific problems using both experimental and computational approaches. My long-term goal is to prove myself as a strongly motivated researcher to show my potential for basic/applied research and lead my group in world-class research.
