Chemist

My research field or area of interest innanotechnology

I am postdoctoral fellow at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I have Ph.D. (Inorganic Chemistry) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India and have Post-doc experience in Bio-inorganic Chemistry and Material Chemistry (Four years). During my research period (Ph.D. and Postdoc) I have published sixteen publication which are based on "Synthesis of organic molecules (ligands) and their transition metal complexes". These compounds are used for biological activity such as Phosphotriesterase. Presently I am working on “Synthesis of layered sulfides and their composite coatings by pulse electro-deposition for high temperature application.” I have knowledge of Chemistry, Bio-inorganic Chemistry and Material Science. I am Ph.D. in Chemistry and One year Postdoctoral experience in Material Science and prior research experience (Ph.D. and First Postdoc) is in transition metal complex synthesis. I have experience in nano materials, electrochemistry and relevant analytical methods (FTIR, XPS, TEM, SEM, DLS, XRD, Raman microscopy).

Interest in...

Bio-inorganic Chemistry, Nano chemistry, nano medicine, drug delivery, material science and Material Chemistry
