Dear Sir,
This is Ahmed Elshahawy. Ahmed is a researcher granted BSc and MSc degree in Biophysics, then PhD in photo-physics and photobiology relevant to Nanotechnology from National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES), Cairo University, Egypt since 2012. His thesis was evaluated externally in Department of Medical Applied Physics and Material Science, Johns Hopkins University, USA and Department of Medical Applied Physics, Lab of Nanotechnology &Magnetism (NANOMAG) Research Technological Institute, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Ahmed has more than fifteen years of experience in the field of Medical Imaging (Magnetic Resonance, Computed Tomography and Nuclear Medicine).
Currently, Ahmed is working as an Application Specialist of Bio-Medical Imaging (Training/Developing/Establishing Standard Imaging Protocols) at the Egyptian Children Cancer Hospital (CCH), Department of Radiology and Siemens Company, Department of Medical solutions Health Care in the Middle East, and a Lecturer of Bio-Medical Imaging , Faculty of Applied Medical Science, Radiological Imaging Technology Department, Misr University for science and Technology.
Ahmed presented lectures in different advanced imaging techniques and its interpretation pertinent to the special field of cancer, particularly in Neuro Imaging, and published three papers and wrote a chapter in an international reference entitled "Hyperthermia". Once again, Ahmed published recent approach of cancer treatment by applying the Magnetic Fluid Hyperthermia MFH concept under Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI in subcutaneous tumor trying to exploit the Magnetic Resonance phenomenon in imaging and treatment at the same time. Although this technique is technically challenging, nevertheless this approach includes some novel conceptions in the field of nanotechnology as said by Experts in nanomedicine at the international level. The published research entitled "Magnetic nanoparticle-induced hyperthermia treatment under magnetic resonance imaging".
Now Ahmed is looking forward to post doctor scholarship or to be assistant to Your Excellency to complete his research project to apply this treatment approach in brain tumors as a Neuro Application of Nanotechnology. Please, let me know if I can provide additional information to help your Excellency in the evaluation of my applications or to send my research proposal. I would be most grateful if you could consider me for a suitable position. I will be available at any time. I look forward to hearing from you Excellency. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope nice day for your Excellency.
