Nano Materials and Nano Technology: • Preparation of metal and semiconductor nanoparticles using novel techniques. • Studying the optical and magnetic properties of these nanoparticles. Conducting Polymers / Electrochemistry: • Preparation of conducting polymer thin films using the electrochemical technique. • Swift heavy ion and low energy ion interactions with polypyrrole polymers. • Incorporations of metal nanoparticles into polypyrrole polymers electrochemically. Metallic Thin Films and Nano Lithography: • Preparations via thermal evaporation and RF sputtering. • Nanosphere lithography, Metal Nanopatterns. • Investigations of the optical properties of thin films.
