With the consumption of traditional energy and the aggravation of environmental pollution, the development of clean energy has become an important research direction. Solar energy has attracted people's attention due to its inexhaustible availability, cleanness and pollution-free. How to develop solar energy is a major challenge for researchers. Recently, Splitting water to produce hydrogen by solar conversion technology has been favored by researchers, and the research on photoelectrode materials with high catalytic performance is the top priority in this field. In this work, dendritic α-Fe2O3 was prepared by electrodeposition. The dendritic α-Fe2O3 was modified by partial oxidation, which greatly improved the conductivity of α-Fe2O3 and solved the problem that its photogenerated hole transport distance is too short. In this experiment, the photocurrent of partially oxidized samples (calcination at 300 ℃), which compared with that of the fully oxidized samples (calcination at 500 ℃), was increased by 55 times. This work could give one new direction to improve the photoelectrochemical performance of semiconductors.
