A new modified biopolymer additive, designated as MAGIC Y, significantly improves the
storage stability and workability of asphalt emulsions having a penetration ranging from 10 –
220 mm/10. The stabilizing effect is due to selective adsorption of polymer chains onto the
surface of the asphalt droplets.
i would like to know about other polymer nano-composites which improve the quality of asphalt emulsion. and how we can use polymer nano-composites in asphalt emulsion systems.

We have done some work adding our stacked-cup carbon nanotubes to cement. It greatly improves freeze/thaw and mechanical properties. Haven't done any testing in asphalt but I imagine the results would be similar.

Hello Masoud,
I though you may be interested in testing inorganic SiO2 nanofibers for improving mechanical proeprties of asphalt. We have been testing SiO2 nanofibers in geopolymers and we reached very godd improvement of its mechanical properties (doubled).

We are manufacturer of this material and currently we test it in many applications. I found your blog and though you may be interested in testing and cooperation.
