TNT 2012 obtains the EPS Sponsored Conference label

The 13th edition of the Trends in Nanotechnology International Conference (TNT 2012) to be held from the 10th until the 14th of September 2012 will be sponsored by the European Physical Society (EPS).

This high-level scientific meeting aims to present a broad range of current research in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (N&N) as well as related policies or other kind of initiatives. Currently, 30 keynote speakers from all over the world, covering different fields of Nanotechnology, are confirmed.

Considering TNT 2012 is an EPS sponsored conference, their members qualify for a reduced fee at the event. The early bird fee is 400 € until the 20th of June 2012 and after that date 485 €. This fee includes admission to all conference sessions, the exhibition, program and conference abstract book, conference material, welcome reception, conference dinner and coffee breaks.

Furthermore, an EPS Poster Prize (amount 250€) will be awarded to a PhD student who presents the best poster at the conference, along with other 8 prizes.

The call for abstracts is still open and the deadline is the 4th of June 2012.

TNT 2012 specific sessions, among others:

  Atoms and molecular computing

  Graphene

High spatial resolution spectroscopies under SPM probe

 Latin America N&N

  Modeling at the nanoscale

  Nanobiotechnology

  Nanomaterials for Energy

  NanoPhotonics/NanoOptics & Plasmonics

  Nanotechnologies for Security & Defense

The European Physical Society (EPS) is a not for profit association whose members include 41 National Physical Societies in Europe, individuals from all fields of physics, and European research institutions. As a learned society, the EPS engages in activities that strengthen ties among the physicists in Europe. As a federation of National Physical Societies, the EPS studies issues of concern to all European countries relating to physics research, science policy and education.

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
