Nanomedicine is booming. Nanoparticles could be able to detect cancer cells before tumors can grow, to replace cellular elements by nanometric "biological machines", to use such "machines" as pump or robots in order to cure very precisely.
Nanoparticles often have unique electrical properties and are excellent semiconductors. Nanotechnology applications could range from imaging, to nanobiochips that allow a personalized diagnosis, through therapeutic targeting at diseased cells scale.
Nanotechnology provides new opportunities in Life Sciences !
The Office for Science and Technology of the French Embassy in Israel coorganizes the « First French-Israeli meeting on Nanotechnologies dedicated to Life Sciences » ! It will take place on November the 20th and 21st at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel-Aviv.
Scientists from the most famous institutions in France and Israel will talk about their researches. Topics covered will be :
- Nanomaterials and Nanoapplications
- Nanomedicine
- Nanophotonics
Through this conference we want to develop scientific cooperation between France and Israel. We hope that new projects will emerge from these meetings.
