As technical sales and application specialist in electron microscopy and surface analysis at Spectral Solutions you drive sales of SEM / TEM and support customers. The position comes with great freedom and responsibility where you build and maintain longterm customer relationships.

The role is to liaise with a mix of new and existing clients and you will also be involved in implementing major projects. The position includes having a strong customer focus and implement sales activities such as customer visits, participate in exhibitions, fairs and organizing meetings, trainings and demonstrations. You are involved in negotiating contracts and conditions to ensure that the budget is reached. You are well versed in electron microscopy and have a high technical knowledge of the applications in order to support customers with advice and suggestions. You become a key competence in a highly skilled team and work closely with customers and collaborate with colleagues in sales, service, applications and projects as well as having contacts with our suppliers worldwide.

The customers are a mix of industrial enterprises, research institutes and universities in the Nordic region. The position involves a great deal of travel, primarily in the Nordic countries but also to suppliers, for example, Germany, Japan or USA. Spectral Solutions has offices in Stockholm, Lidingö, but there is an opportunity for home office. The position is permanent and starting as soon as possible / by agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in electron microscopy, SEM / TEM and microanalysis EDS / EBSD. We believe that a successful candidate has a technical university education, for example MSc or PhD in materials chemistry, physics or equivalent. Experience in technical sales is a plus as is experience of procurement and negotiation. You express yourself well in written and spoken English and Swedish. A driving license is required.
