IBM - Yorktown Heights, NY Technical lead needed to coordinate a team of scientists working on biological aspects of bio-nanotechnology, including single molecule detection and biosensors. The focus of this team effort will involve combining fundamental research with chip-based solutions to achieve single biomolecule manipulation and capture; bio-sensing; and single molecule chemistry with a long-term strategy toward licensing and commercialization. The successful candidate must have an extensive knowledge of single molecule processes, as evidenced by related work and research experience, and a proven track record in Bio-Sensing. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate results within the team as well as the broader scientific community and potential clients.
Required

Master's Degree

Basic knowledge in Biophysics

English: Intermediate

Preferred

Doctorate Degree in Engineering

At least 7 years experience in Biophysics

At least 7 years experience in Electrochemistry

At least 7 years experience in Bio-nanotechnology

At least 7 years experience in Experimental molecular biology

English : Fluent
