NORMAN, OK -- January 26, 2012 -- SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Inc. (SWeNT), the world leader in high quality, Single-Wall and Specialty Multi-Wall (SMW™) carbon nanotubes (CNT), announces that its CEO Dave Arthur has been named as "One of the Most Influential Nanotechnology Leaders of 2011" by the Nanobusiness Alliance.

 

The Nanobusiness Alliance is the premier nanotechnology leadership group whose members are leaders in the field and have made significant contributions in the nanotechnology community.

 

"David Arthur has been one of the leaders in our Nanotechnology Community for over a decade," explains Vince Caprio, president of the Washington DC-based Nanobusiness Alliance.  "We commend his contributions to the commercialization of Nanotechnology products."

 

 In addition to his position as CEO of SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Arthur is also  a founder of Chasm Technologies, a nano R&D firm which develops nano applications.

 

SWeNT is currently developing SWCNT-based semiconducting inks to commercially produce and print thin film transistors TFTs for use in flat panel OLED TV and other applications, including flexible displays.
