We are seeking a Service Engineer to support our electron microscope customers and further strengthen the Spectral Solutions service team. The work includes supporting the customers by performing installation, preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting. Performing customer trainings and supporting them with expertise is also included. The work includes a mix of routine service as well as advanced troubleshooting and support. The customers are a mix of academia, research institutes and industry. You will be part of a competent service team where you will get freedom with responsibility in a exciting technically environment.
The position includes a large amount of travelling, mainly in the Nordic region. Spectral Solutions office is located at Lidingö, Stockholm, and there is an opportunity to be home based. The position is permanent with start as soon as possible/according to agreement.
Who we're looking for
We believe that a successful candidate has a technical degree (BSc, MSc, PhD, Service technician) or equivalent experience. A strong technical knowledge in combination with good computer skills is required. Experience from electron microscope, mechanical/electrical science and working experience is a plus but not a must. Excellent English knowledge is a must and Swedish knowledge is a plus. Driving licence is required.
