Scientific specialist in atomic-scale modeling for QuantumWise Japan KK, Tokyo, Japan

QuantumWise Japan K.K. is seeking one scientific specialist for the technical support of our Japanese customers. You will be part of an international team of world leading experts in atomic-scale simulations located in Denmark and Japan. The workplace will be our office at the Tokyo University of Science in Japan and your main priority will be the interaction with our Japanese users, who are leading chemical, materials, and semiconductor companies and academic institutions. You will provide advanced technical and scientific support and write technical tutorials in Japanese. In some cases there may be the possibility to do scientific case studies to be published in leading scientific journals. You will also participate in and do presentations at conferences and workshops. Depending on qualifications and interest, you may also be involved in programming plugins to deliver solutions for specific customers. The tasks require native communication skills in Japanese and extensive experience with atomic-scale modeling, in particular density functional methods and molecular dynamics. Some programming experience will be an advantage but is not required. Current team members have a degree in theoretical physics, computer science or chemistry.
